Terms of service
Short, because the product is. Selection Toolbar is made and sold by Raj Vadeghar, trading as R44j, and these terms cover the free extension and the paid Premium plan.
The free extension
Selection Toolbar is free to install and use. Every feature that is free today stays free. You may use it on any number of browsers and machines. You may not resell it, remove its notices, or use it to break the law or the terms of the sites you visit.
Premium
Premium is an annual subscription tied to the account you sign in with in the extension. It adds sync of highlights, notes, settings and saved prompts across your browsers, exports and search, as listed on the Premium page. Payments are taken by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record; Dodo's own terms apply to the payment itself, and the price you see at checkout, tax included where it applies, is the price charged.
The subscription renews every year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt email; cancelling stops the next renewal, and Premium stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
Sync stores your highlights, notes, toolbar settings and saved prompts in your account so they can reach your other browsers. They are yours: you can export them as Markdown or as a backup file at any time and delete the synced copy from the extension's settings. If Premium ends, sync stops and everything already on your devices stays there.
Your account
Signing in uses your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to it. One subscription covers one account; it is not for sharing.
Changes and availability
The extension and Premium are provided as they are. We work to keep sync available, but a one-person product cannot promise uninterrupted service. If Premium is discontinued, remaining paid time is refunded in full. These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Premium in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
